SUPPORTING CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The Institute for Educational and Assistive Technology is a non-profit organization whose goal is to use the latest in assistive technologies to support the special needs student in just a few steps:

Consultation

We meet with the child in a safe, neutral environment for the initial consultation and assessment.

Evaluation

The evaluation consists of a series of skill assessments.

Assessment

We meet with the parents to discuss which tools and applications would be the most beneficial. If needed, we can aid in the arrangement of funding for the lessons and the equipment.

Implementation

Using the latest technologies and applications we work with the student in a safe learning environment. We set up an individualized program, monitor progress and adjust our methodology accordingly.

WHAT SOME OF OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

"Thank you for all of your hard work in helping our daughter this year. You have made such a difference in her life; we cannot begin to tell you how much. When she started high school this year, she came home agitated and stressed out. Once she started working with you, it didn't take long before she became much calmer. Her grades improved and her outlook towards high school, in general, changed.Your love and understanding are exactly what she needed to be able to learn from and to do her very best in classes. You definitely have the tools necessary for making students comfortable with themselves and their environment so that they can maximize their ability to learn. These tools are gifts that you possess and are rare to come by."  -ML
